In 2018 Adam began working with sand and stop motion animation as a way to manipulate architecture. His video work the architect went on to win best of sand and salt at the Palm Springs International Animation Festival in 2020; the best new artist award at the Istanbul Experimental Film Festival in 2021; and the Trout Museum’s best in show award in their SECURA exhibition in 2022.

Adam Stoner is a fine artist and scenic designer living in Milwaukee, WI. A graduate of UW Milwaukee’s MFA in Intermedia, he is best known for his architectural work in paint and sand.
